The Situation
Gloucester Park Harness Racing needed to heat their cavernous function rooms to make them more inviting for nighttime events to keep patrons longer. The heating method had to be safe though as the longer patrons stayed, the more beverages they tended to enjoy which in turn made them prone to clumsiness. Not a good combination near typical heaters.
What Happened
The 21kW Electric Blower Heater was the heater of choice. A key advantage is its safety. Usual alternatives are gas based (jet style) which have both safety and legal issues for indoor applications.
At Gloucester Park the 21kW Electric Blower Heater easily and quickly heated up the large function area. As hoped, the increased comfort enticed patrons to stay longer, enjoy the experience more and consequently spend more money in the hospitality areas.
