Taste of Melbourne: Foodie Heaven Powered Along With Rental Generators, Distribution Boards and Heaters

The Situation

Melbourne’s notoriously fickle weather wasn’t enough to dampen this fantastic event.

At Taste of Melbourne over 15 of Melbourne’s latest, greatest and hottest restaurants created special menus of tasting dishes for the occasion, including ‘icon dishes’ crafted by the chefs to specially reflect their philosophy and showcase seasonal and premium ingredients.

There was also over 100 artisan producers and a host of new and exciting attractions this year.

All of which was powered by Active Air Rentals.

The Solution

For this job we used:

• 3 x 275kVA generators
• 3 x 100kVA generators
• 1 x 200kVA generator
• 1 x 40kVA generator

We also supplied:

• Fuel trailers
• 4 x 400amp power distribution boards
• 6 x patio heaters

The event was a great success with the guys working through torrential rain to get everything set up and ready to go. The team stayed on site over the four day event and ensured everything  went off without a hitch.

The event organiser and site manager were very happy.
