Active Air has provided a seamless climate control system for the Caulfield Cup Carnival since 2006, this year was no exception. Being one of the key race days in Melbourne we understand the importance of getting the job done without a hitch. Over the years we have developed an understanding for the site and the criteria for the event. The structures at the carnival live up to all of the glamour of the races which means our air conditioning systems need to be neat and subtle to blend in with the aesthetics.
We provided 2 off 96kW Packaged Units on each side of a 70m x 20m structure. One half has a black sock run for the supply air to match the internal black lining and the other half has a white supply air sock run to match the white lining. We also have 1 off 96kW packaged units ducted in to a Highline Structure and 1 off 56kW packaged unit with a supply air sock run in a 10m x 20m structure.
The team in Melbourne installed the equipment over a couple of days, meeting all of the clients expectations. It was a great carnival day with no issues, a very happy client. An event we love to be a part of, looking forward to the opportunity again in the years to come.
