In the midst of the global pandemic, the production of “Young Rock” Season 1 began at Screen Queensland Studios in Hemmant, running from August 2020 to February 2021. The set was buzzing with activity, but there was one crucial challenge: keeping the actors cool and comfortable without disrupting the filming process.
Active Air were tasked with providing a cooling solution that was not only effective but also unobtrusive and mobile. The answer? Multiple 15kW split system units.
These units were perfect for the job. The condenser units were placed outside, freeing up valuable space inside the studio and reducing noise levels. Meanwhile, the indoor units, mounted on wheels, could be easily moved around the set, directing cool, conditioned air exactly where it was needed.
Thanks to Active Air’s innovative approach, the actors remained comfortable throughout the shoot, allowing them to focus on bringing their characters to life. The production went smoothly, and “Young Rock” Season 1 was a resounding success, much to the delight of fans around the world.
