About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic sales manager to fill our National Business Development Manager role, based in our Sydney office. Reporting directly to the director, the role is an integral part of Active Air’s growth strategy.

This role is a mix of driving new sales opportunities as well as managing existing relationships, which makes it perfect for anyone looking to build their sales experience. You’ll need a ‘can-do’ attitude as this role is very hands-on and may occasionally require you to jump in and help develop solutions.

In this role you will:

  • Develop a sales strategy to drive new sales nationally
  • Account manage / build relationships with existing clients
  • Schedule regular toolbox talks with key clients
  • Attend industry events and network with key clients and prospects
  • Identify opportunities for national contracts and develop proposals
  • Work with marketing to create relationship building initiatives

This is the ideal role for anyone looking to build a future as you’ll have the opportunity to grow and evolve with the role while really making it your own. You will have the opportunity to work on interesting and special projects including some of Australia’s largest events.

As we are a national company, there will also be opportunities for interstate travel.

Skills and Experience

This role is perfect for anyone with a HVAC / air conditioning background who is looking to make an impact and take their career to the next level.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in the HVAC / air conditioning industry
  • Experience in business development and/or account management
  • Experience designing solutions to meet client needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and isn’t afraid of a little hard work

You must be an Australian resident and have a driver’s license.

You will be remunerated with an attractive salary package – a total OTE package of $120,000 including base salary, bonus scheme, car or allowance and superannuation.
