Extreme heat was causing shoppers to leave a big-box retailer and having a negative impact on sales.
The retailer was utilising a warehouse style environment which no longer had permanent air conditioning.
As they didn’t want to invest in a permanent system they went on the hunt for a temporary solution.
What to do? NSW State Manager James Quintal explains,
‘After a phone discussion and site visit we specified two 113 kW Packaged Unit Air Conditioners would do the job. We used mains power to power the air conditioners and ducted into the warehouse’s old ducting system.’
The retailer is very happy and is keeping the temporary air conditioning solution on site all Summer.
